Srinagar, May 27 :- A militant Associate of LeT outfit arrested at Nagbal Chandoosa in Baramulla and one grenade recovered from his possession. Police in a statement to the news agency— said that on a specific information regarding movement of militants in Village Nagbal Chandoosa Police spokesperson said that joint forces of Baramulla Police & 52 RR placed a MVCP at Shranz Crossing Nagbal Chandoosa and one suspect person who was coming from Shrunz towards Nagbal Chandoosa tried to flee while noticing joint naka party but was apprehended tactfully. During his personal search one grenade was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately, who was later identified as Mohd Ashraf Mir S/O Mohd Shafi Mir R/O Laridoora Chandoosa and is working as Associate of LeT outfit, he said. It is pertinent to mention here that the said arrested Associate is a surrendered militant. Case under Indian Arms Act & UA (P) Act was registered in Police Station Chandoosa* and investigations was taken up, he said
