KUPWARA,MAY 26: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray today convened a meeting of all Tehsildars of the district at Mini-Meeting hall of DC office complex here to review the implementation of Digital India Land records Modernisation programe and Cadastral Maps. The meeting held thread bare discussion regarding the the progress achieved in  digitization/geo-referencing of cadastral maps,and other related  issues. The Deputy Commisioner reviewed all agenda points and received feedback from the concerned officers. At the outset, it  was apprised that there are a total of 378 villages in the district. In 299 villages of the district, cordinates have been taken and 56 villages have been Geo-referenced. The Deputy Commisioner directed concerned officers and field functionaries to speed up the data uploading and data updation of digitization and geo Referencing of Cadastral maps. Deputy Commisioner  gave a deadline of one more day to concerned officers  for completion of Digitization and Geo Referencing of Cadastral maps.  DC directed  officers to be more proactive, improve the pace of digitalisation and ensure time -line strictly. The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Irfan Bahadur, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
