Ganderbal, May 25: People of Ganderbal district are grateful to Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Mr Shyambir (I.A.S) for the construction of Wayil Bridge. The bridge was a long pending demand of the people and was finally completed and made open for public use in record time. The bridge will provide a much-needed connectivity between the two banks of the river and will also help in reducing the travel time between Ganderbal and Srinagar to Kangan and Sonamarg. The bridge was inaugurated by LG Manoj Sinha today in the presence of a large number of people. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shyambir said that the bridge was a gift to the people of Ganderbal and would help in improving their lives. Mohammad Amin Shah said, that the people of Ganderbal are grateful to Mr Shyambir for his efforts in getting the bridge constructed. They say that the bridge will bring a lot of relief to the people and will also help in boosting the local economy. “I am very happy that the bridge has been constructed. It will help us in reducing the travel time. The bridge is a long pending demand of the people. We are grateful to Mr Shyambir for getting it constructed. The bridge will bring a lot of relief to the people. It will help us in transporting our goods and will also make it easier for us to go to school and hospital. The bridge connects the important route to Sonamarg and Baltal. The construction of Wayil Bridge is a major achievement of Mr Shyambir and it is a testimony to his commitment to the people of Ganderbal.
