He paid homage to the fallen heroes of Tithwal who made supreme sacrifice in 1947-48 war.  Wreath laying was followed by cultural event in which local artists to include Shining Karnah band and Pahari club enthralled the audience. Later students from Army Goodwill School and differnt schools of Tangdhar mesmerised everyone with exceptional performance. Many dignitaries including SDM Karnah, SHO Tangdhar, ESM President, Local sarpanches, Sh Joginder Singh and Mr Ajaz Ahmed Khan were present during the event.  The day ended with Maj Gen Girish Kalia’s address to the people of Tithwal in which he commended the support and trust of the locals in Indian Army and wished everyone a very happy Tithwal day.
