Dr Samoon reviews pending court cases pertaining SDD

JAMMU, MAY 17:- Principal Secretary, Skill Development Department (SDD), Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, today chaired a meeting to review present status of pending court cases/contempt cases pertaining to Skill Development Department.  The meeting was attended by Director, SDD, Sudershan Kumar, SLOs, Principals, Superintendents Polytechnics and ITIs besides officers of concerned departments in person and virtually.  Dr Samoon had threadbare discussion on status of various pending court cases of Polytechnics and ITI institutions of Skill Development Department.  The head of institutions from different districts of both the divisions briefed the meeting about present status and factual position of court cases concerning their jurisdictions.  Principal Secretary stressed upon all the concerned officers of SDD to submit the same to appropriate authorities for speedy settlement of these pending court cases.  Additional Advocate General, Rajesh Thappa, also attended the meeting online and briefed the meeting about present status of court cases.
