Srinagar May 07: BJP district president Ganderbal Mohammad Amin Shah met Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, the Chairperson of the Waqf Board, appointed by the government in recognition of her years of service to the Muslim community. The two leaders spoke about development of Waqf properties and clearing encouragements from Waqf properties. Shah also pointed out some of the shrines in district Ganderbal that needs repair, maintenance and new construction. Talking about schools Shah requested Dr Darakshan to open new schools in the district and acquire some old school if possible. Talking to media about the brief meeting Shah said that, Dr Darakshan Andrabi made Waqf Board free from corruption. The Waqf Board has a vital role to play in safeguarding the interests of the Muslim community, particularly with regard to the management of Waqf properties. Dr Darakshan Andrabi intended to use
