Calls for robust & speedy public service delivery in the village
BUDGAM, MAY 10: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo today held a public grievances redressal camp/Block Diwas at Panchayat Halqa Kandoora in Block Beerwah of Budgam. The programme was held at Panchayat Ghar Kandoora, wherein local PRIs, elders and local youth delegations from villages Sail, Sonpah, Kanigund, Latina, and other adjacent villages participated and raised their demands with the DC. Stressing on speedy execution and completion of ongoing developmental works, the DC called for robust development of the area. He assured people that all their genuine demands shall be taken up with the relevant quarters for prompt disposal. He said all issues taken up during the Diwas shall be also discussed with all the departments concerned for speedy resolution. Concerned departments were instructed to hold mutation camps and other awareness camps for convenience of the general public. ACD and Tehsildar concerned were directed to identify suitable patch of land for the development of sports ground for local youth. Officers were strictly instructed to ensure better service delivery to the general people. Among others, ADDC Budgam, Dr. Akramullah Tak; JD planning, Rafiq Ahmad; ACD, ACP, SDM Beerwah, Executive Engineers of all wings, Tehsildar, BDO and District and Sectoral officers, officials were present on the occasion.
