PEERZADA SAYEED -CHAMKOT KARNA Like the previous year in Karna, this year too, the Indian Army has officially started the recruitment of potters for the unemployed youth. For many years, youths are recruited in the army by the LC Potter Company so that they can earn their jobs. On Monday, when the world celebrates World Labour Day Army has organised this recruitment drive for unemployed youth and this recruitment is being implemented in Chamkot and Tingdar in a phased manner. This recruitment process will continue till May 5. The recruitment was officially held on Monday in which hundreds of unemployed youths from five villages participated. The potters who are recruited are paid 18000 rupees included TA DA.It should be known that Karna’s total population is around 100,000 and most of the people here live below the poverty line but every year they wait for the army recruitment so that they can earn their jobs by working with the army for five months. According to the local people, the relationship between the army and the people in the border area of Karnah has been strong for years and the army stands by the side of its people in every difficult hour. People said that whether there are floods, or earthquakes, accidents or other difficulties, the army never left the people alone but supported the people in every difficult time. The local people said that nothing is complete in Karna without the army. Because they are provided smallest of facilities. As a result of the good coordination of the people, the army continues to provide all possible help to the people. Taking care of the health of the people, medical camps are organized in every area where there are no health facilities, providing better education to the children. In order to do this, the army has started several training institutes in Karna, while the children here are also sent for trips to other states, not only that, but free vehicles have been made available to transport the children to schools. In order to keep the society free from drugs, sports activities are started every year during the summer season. During this time, local people have demanded the top army officials to take into account the growing population in Karna and the economic position of the people. Whereas the vacancy quota in LC Potter Company should be increased so that more people can get employment as the unemployed youth of Karna are waiting for this recruitment day.
