JAMMU, APRIL 17: Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations on Monday presented a cultural program in Government Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar on the theme Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. Principal of the school, Adarsh Bala Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion. Artists of Cultural Wing Information Department Jammu Vijay Anand, Surjeet Singh, Balbir Singh, Bunty Kumar, Kamal Kumar and Mukesh Kumar presented Folk songs, patriotic songs and theme based songs. Students and staff of the school also presented a colourful Cultural program which spell bound the audience. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal shared her views on the topic and lauded the Cultural Unit of the Department of Information and Public Relations for organizing the program to aware the future of the nation. She urged the Information Department to organise such programmes in future also. Among others, staff members of the school, officials of the Information Department and a large number of audiences witnessed the program. The program was conducted under the supervision of Cultural Officer, Mukesh Kumar Sharma.
