Anantnag, April, 13. 2023  Association of Anantnag Journalists (AAJ) in collaboration with Saint Xains International School Anantnag Organised  Naat Competition today at Town Hall Anantnag.   Students from various schools including Saint Xains International School Anantnag, Whiz kids School Anantnag, Hira Public School, DPS Sangam Anantnag, Howard School Bijbehara, Oxford school Bijibehara, Hanfia Islamia Higher Secondary School Anantnag, City School Anantnag, MMI Shamsipora and Al Sarwat School Krangsoo Anantnag participated in the competition and recited mesmerising Naats   ADC Anantnag, Mohd Ashraf Sheikh, remained present as Chief Guest while as President MC Anantnag Hilal Ahmad Shah remained presentt as Guest of Honour.   Molana Shabir Ahmad Alie and senior Journalist Shabir Ahmad Bhat acted as Judges.  ADC Anantnag, Mohd Ashraf Sheikh in his speech applauded the efforts of Association of Anantnag Journalists (AAJ) and the school participants for organising the Naat Competition.   President MC Anantnag, Hilal Ahmad Shah congratulated all the participants and wished good luck to the Association of Anantnag Journalists (AAJ) for organising such programmed in future also.   The position holders were awarded with Certificates, Mementoes and Cash prize by the Chief Guest & Guest of Honour. Tajaly Ashraf from MMI Shamsipora, Nazish Mushtaq from Hira Public School and Sheizma Sajad from Whiz kids secured 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively, while as Areba Jan from Saint Xains International School, Arbeena Jan from AlSarwat School and Maryam Shahnawaz from DPS were given consolation prizes.
