The aim of the lecture was to create awareness about the importance of prenatal care, safe delivery practices and postpartum care for women.
The focus was given to the challenges faced by women in accessing quality maternal health care services, particularly in rural and underserved areas. The lecture also addresses the main problems among this population like Anemia in Pregnancy and importance of breastfeeding in today’s world. The lecture was concluded with a beautiful poetry on “Maa” highlighting the theme.

This year, the theme of the day was *”Motherhood is a blessing from God”*. Motherhood is a beautiful journey. It should be a time of expectation and joy for a woman, her family and the community.

By raising awareness and promoting safe motherhood practices, the day is an important step towards a healthier, safer and more equitable world for women and their families.
