Calls for joint efforts to ensure benefits for masses BANDIPORA, APRIL 11: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmed on tuesday chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the enrolment drive for registration of beneficiaries under social security schemes including Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana(PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana(PMSBY). Dr. Owais on the occasion asked all the concerned officers and representatives of Banks and financial institutions to gear up for the saturation campaign and ensure active involvement of PRI members to cover all eligible beneficiaries under the social Security schemes. He calls for joint efforts of the banks and other departments and active participation of the District Administration to ensure that benefits of the two Jan Suraksha schemes PMJJBY and PMSBY reach the masses. The Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the Officers of concerned Departments and financial institutions to utilise their field functionaries for identification and mobilisation of the Scheme beneficiaries for cent percent enrolment. He also stressed on intensive awareness among the people regarding awareness of the scheme. Dr. Owais on the occasion asked the departments to achives the targets within shortest possible time. Besides ADDC Bandipora Ali Afsar Khan, the meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, DIO Bandipora Jahangeer Akhoon, Lead District Manager Bandipora and other concerned.
