KULGAM,APRIL,03: In order to review preparations for Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls commencing from April 05-04-2023 a meeting of EROs and AEROS was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner who is also District Election Officer(DEO) here at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex.
During the meeting Dy-DEO Kulgam, Bilal Kamgar briefed the chair about the Revision activities and said that with April 01, 2023 as qualifying date the publication of integrated draft electoral roll will be done on April 05, 2023 and period for filing of claims & objections is April 05, 2023 to April 20, 2023.
The DEO directed the concerned Officers to conduct this special summary revision strictly in accordance with the ECI guidelines as per schedule and complete the process within the given timeline.
During the meeting DEO emphasized on conducting extensive SVEEP activities across the district as per SVEEP action plan.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather, ADC, Viqar Ahmed Giri, EROs, AEROs and other concerned officers.
