New Delhi based Kashmir Journalist Tawqeer Hussain is nominated as the Joint Secretary of the prestigious Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia

New Delhi based Kashmir Journalist Tawqeer Hussain is nominated as the Joint Secretary of the prestigious Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia. He was nominated by the new committee who will take charge of the club from April 1, 2023. He will hold the position from April 2022 to March 2025. Earlier he was the member- Governing council of the Club.

With over a decade of experience covering India and now South Asia, with special focus on Foreign Affairs, Tawqeer Hussain currently works as Special Corespondent – South Asia with Tokyo based World’s largest newspaper The Yomiuri Shimbun. Their English edition is called The Japan News.
