A grand seminar was organised by Government Post Graduate College Rajouri. The Seminar titled as “Business Model for Startup companies” was held here in the conferance hall of the college.
The guests who were present in the seminar were Head department of Physics Dr. Bashir Ahmad, Head
Department of Commerce and Management Studies Prof. Anwar Chouhan, Head Department of Economics Prof. Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat and Dr. Muzafar Ahmad Pandit.
The chief guest on the occasion was Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Shamim Ahmad Azad.
The special lecture was deliverd by Prof. Jagjeet Singh faculty member of department of Commerce and management studies.
Dr. Bashir Ahmad spoke on the occassion and said that this program is aimed to spread awareness about Startup initiatives and encouraged students to actively participate in such events.
Prof. Anwar Chouhan in his speech highlighted the key points regarding some financial aspects of startup initiatielves. He said, “We should not only host such programs on the campus but also train students to become sucsesfull entrepreneurs.
During the seminar, students from different departments of the college were given opportunities to explain their innovative ideas within the stipulated time. The event proceedings were conducted by Prof. Bashir Ahmad, Head department of Physics.
Prof Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat, Head Department of Economics presented a formal vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and students.
