Kashmir may soon have its own Ruet e Hilal committee: Waqf board chairman

SRINAGAR:On Thursday, the Chairperson Waqf Board sought suggestions from the public regarding the formation of J-K Ruet-e-hilal committee.

The statement came a day after a confusion prevailed over moon sighting in Jammu Kashmir when late night announcements were made in Kashmir to observe Ramadhan on Thursday. However, several Ulema of Kashmir had declared that Ramadhan will start from Friday.
