Kulgam, March 21: District Administration Kulgam in collaboration with Mission Youth, RDD and PR Kulgam today organized a Mega Youth festival at mini secretariat, Kulgam an initiative to youth engagement.
Festival was jointly inaugurated by Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Secretary TAD & CEO Mission Youth and District Development Commissioner, Kulgam Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
Speaking to Media on the sideline of the event Secretary TAD & CEO Mission Youth, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said that this program was organised on the direction of of honourable LG J&K Shri Manoj Sinha, it is an initiative of Youth engagement, the main motive of this program is to engage youth towards different Co Circular activities to save them from bad evils including drugs
Chairperson District Development Council Kulgam, Mohd Afzal Parray, Superintendent of Police Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Showkat Ah Rather, ADC Kulgam, Viqar Ah Giri, ACD Kulgam, Mohd Imran Khan, ACR Kulgam, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, SDM, CEO, DYSSO, DDC members, and other officers of line departments were present in Mega Youth fefestival
A colourful and mesmerising cultural programme featuring local folk dance and music,, Nataks and other activities marked the set off the festival and the event witnessed huge public participation.
The prize distribution ceremony was also held wherein various officers and officials from different departments were awarded for their meritorious work.
