Bandipora:-The Army’s 14 RR unit at Sonarwani sector of Bandipora district on Tuesday facilitated a teenage girl who had brought laurels to J&K after carved her way to an international Ju-Jitsu Championship. The young was felicitated by the 14-RR Army’s commanding officer (CO) Ajay Rawat, besides she was also encouraged by the army in achieving her goal

Notably, Sabkat Malik of remote Vijjhara area of Bandipora despite facing challenges has made it to international level and will represent India in Ju-Jitsu International Federation’s World Championship scheduled in Mongolia this year.

She was interested in martial arts since her childhood but she faced many challenges in order to achieve her dream. Playing at international level and to become a champion in Ju-Jitsu martial arts was a primary aim of her life.
