DC Kupwara chairs DLSCC; 21 cases settled

KUPWARA, MARCH 20: The District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee (DLSCC) which met here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray today settled 21 cases.

SSP Kupwara, Yougal Manhas and ADC Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat were also present in the meeting.

A total of 26 cases of different categories were put forth for discussion before the Committee, out of which 21 cases have been cleared subject to the fulfillment of all codal formalities. These include 4 death cases approved for an ex-gratia relief of Rs.1 lakh; 7 cases relating to injury have been cleared for Rs.5000 each and 10 property cases were cleared at Rs.5200 each.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed upon the concerned officers to speed up the disposal of pending cases in their offices so that timely settlement could be done in the next meeting of DLSCC.

ACR Kupwara, Senior Civil, Police, CID and Army officers attended the meeting.
