Inspection of Drug sale outlets held at Sub division Sumbal

BANDIPORA, March 18 : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmed, a joint inspection of various drug stores was today conducted by Bilal Ahmad Rather Drug Control Officer Bandipora at Sumbal Sub Division area of the district.

The team inspected several drug stores and checked their maintenance of records etc. It also inspected various parameters involved in sale of drugs including Operation of establishments under valid license, following the directions issued under Nasha Mukt Bharat like installation of CCTVs and CBS in their shops etc.

The team also checked the maintenance of records of NRx drugs or Schedule H1 drugs, maintaining the conditions of licenses issued to them under provisions of Drug Laws like sale of drugs under the supervision of QP or maintenance of sale/purchase records of drugs, selling drugs under given MRP rates and observing other provisions with respect to Legal Metrology department for the items coming under the purview of Food Safety and Standards of India.

Besides these, records for selling Scheduled drugs against proper prescription issued by Registered Medical Practitioners (RMP) were
