DC Kupwara hoisted  National Flag at newly constructed Flag Post at DC Office lawns

KUPWARA, MARCH 17: District Administration Kupwara today organised an impressive function at DC Office Lawns in connection with National Flag raising ceremony on newly constructed Flag Post at DC Office lawns.
               The  National Flag was hoisted by Deputy Commissioner(DC), Kupwara,  Dr.Doifode Sagar Dattatray in presence of SSP Kupwara Yougal Manhas.
             The Deputy Commissioner took salute on the parade presented by contingents of CRPF, J&K  Police and Police Band.
              The ADDC Kupwara, Altaf Ahmad Khan; ADC Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat; ACR Kupwara Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, all district and sectoral officers were present at the occasion.
         On the occasion , the Deputy Commissioner, while talking to media, said that the National Flag 12×18 feet size, was hoisted at the height of 55 feet in the Lawns of Administrative Complex (DC Office) Kupwara. He said this is the part of celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebration of 75 years of Independence.
                Deputy Commissioner said that National Flag energizes people to achieve their goals. He said National Flag is also hoisted at various big establishments in the district including at Public Park Langate which is hoisted at 108 feet height.
