Srinagar, Mar 14: BJP JK’s chief spokesman Sunil Shetty Tuesday said that Jammu and Kashmir received a record budget during the current fiscal in the budget, adding that this is the highest ever compared to any previous financial years that caters to all important sectors including tourism.

Shetty while addressing a presser in Srinagar, said that during the important sectors like service sector, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, agro based industry, tourism (including film & medical tourism) have been duly taken care of in the budget. He said huge focuss on smart cities and women folk are the steps hailed by one and all.

He said that under the budget, new push has been given to women folk which includes introducing of pink taxies etc.

“In addition, various other measures have been taken to improve the business environment through ease of doing business, economic package, operation of night flights from Jammu and Srinagar, etc,” he said.
