Panzgam, Kupwara. On 13 Mar 2023, Army Recruitment Office (ARO), Srinagar conducted awareness talk on Agniveer scheme at Panzgam in Kupwara district. The event was organized in Panzgam for the first time. Youth from Panzgam, Chowkibal, Keran, Kralpora and adjoining villages attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of Army Recruiting Office, Col G Suresh info the gathering about the modalities of changes in recruiting as also provided solutions to problems being faced by the youth in the registration process. The event raised awareness among the aspirants and also resolved their queries on the subject. For better assimilation, video in urdu language about the registration process was screened. Col Suresh interacted with the aspirants who had come from various regions. Aspirants were made aware of the process through video and powerpoint presentation. The zeal amongst the locals was amply visible with the amount of questions asked in the Q&A session.
The event was appreciated by locals as it resolved their queries and also provided them information on employment avenues in the Indian Army. At the end of the talk, a tea was organized for all persons which yet again provided the youth an opportunity to interact & resolve their queries.
