KULGAM, MARCH 13: On the directions of Director Industries and Commerce Kashmir, Saloni Rai, the District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam today organized a district level sensitization cum workshop on, ‘Ease of Doing Business & Single Window System’.
The programme was held under the supervision of General Manager DIC Kulgam, Bashir Ahmad.
Officers from Forest, Revenue, Health, Handicrafts, Labour, Police, Jal Shakti, Pollution Control Board, SICOP, State Taxation, Legal Metrology, Geology and Mining, Agriculture besides members from industrial associations and budding entrepreneurs attended the workshop.
During this training session, participants were briefed by the teams of EODB Consultants from Ernst & Young and single window IT team about the process/system through a PowerPoint presentation.
The programme was followed by question answer session and witnessed a threadbare discussion between the participants and the IT team regarding the hiccups which are being faced by the department while discharging the applications on line.
The feedback was duly noted by the concerned for onward submission to the concerned quarter for final disposal and redressal to make the system more efficient and smooth.
