The event was an initiative to encourage young talent of Kashmir Valley in Winter Games and witnessed participation of nearly 250 boys and girls of different age categories from all over the Kashmir. Various ski events were conducted to include Slalom, Giant Slalom, one Km X- country and Snowboarding.

GOC 19 Inf Division was the Chief Guest on the occasion. While interacting with the participants, he appreciated their spirit and vigour. The GOC was very happy seeing the huge participation of students, especially of girls and assured his full support to the young talent in Kashmir. He informed that this is first of its kind event, which has been organized by Indian Army. He further said that in future, more such events would be conducted.
