GoC White Knight Corps reviews security in Reasi, Rajouri

Rajouri, Feb 27 : General Officer in Commanding White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General Sandeep Jain on Monday reviewed security situation and operational aspects in hinterland areas of Reasi district.

As per a statement issued to the news agency—, the Army officer also appreciated the professional competence of all personnel in successfully overcoming challenges.

Defense spokesman said that General Officer in Commanding White Knight Corps, Lt Gen Sandeep Jain visited Mahore and Maniyarwala areas in Reasi district.

Army said that GoC White Knight Corps, Lt Gen Jain was briefed on the current security situation and operational aspects.

“He reviewed the security situation and appreciated the professional competence of all personnel in successfully overcoming challenges,” the statement said.

GoC was accompanied by senior army officers of Rajouri based Romeo Force.

The GoC Lt Gen Sandeep Jain also visited Samote area camp in Budhal area of Rajouri.

He reviewed the internal security situation in the region and operational preparedness in the area that also include snow-clad Pir Panjal mountain ranges.

He complimented the troops for their professionalism and devotion to duty.
