Kupwara, Feb 26: Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, Principal Secretary, Skill Development Department, inspected the ongoing work of park and water front Amritsarovar at Goos village of Block Hayhama in Kupwara district. Dr. Samoon who is also Mentor Secretary for Kupwara district has applauded the Deputy Commisioner Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray and Rural development Department (RDD)Kupwara for constructing a beautiful water front Amritsarovar and a park in the Goos village at entry point of Lolab valley. ” Presence of Rural development Department is evident in rural areas and RDD is implementing MGNREGA in district which is a major livelihood security and asset creation programme” Samoon said. The Spot chosen for water front Amritsarovar at Goos is very beautiful, mesmerising and picturesque and coverd by thick , green forests . Gushing water of Lolab Nallah are adding to the beauty of the spot and is attracting every passerby, besides this place is gateway of Lolab valley. Dr. Samoon alongwith Deputy Commisioner Kupwara Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray, enjoyed the boating in the water front Amritsarovar. Assistant Commissioner Development(ACD)Kupwara, Hilal Ahmad Mir, and District Mineral Officer Kupwara, Dr. Shujat Ahmad Qureshi and other officers of district administration were present on the spot.
