JAMMU, FEBRUARY 25: A District level mock exercise (upscaling the modality) on Earthquake and landslide rescue was today conducted at Bagh-e-Bahu near aquarium in the presence of Manisha, Assistant Commissioner General Jammu; Rajiv Khajuria, SDM Marh; Ram Lal, SDM R.S. Pura; Anita Pawar, Dy. SP Civil Defence.
The stakeholders including SDRF, NDRF, Police, Civil Defence, Medical, Fire & Emergency Services, District Administration held a detailed discussion on the response plan during any eventuality.
Volunteers of Civil Defence and School Children also participated. Live exercise to respond in case of any eventuality was also conducted. The event was organised by 13 Bn. NDRF under the supervision of Assistant Commandant Parveen Singh, in coordination with SDRF, Department of Fisheries and District Administration.
