Cyclist From Srinagar:
(First Time In The History Of India)
Youth from Srinagar first time in the history of India recently concluded a 100Km’s solo journey bicycling from Srinagar Clock Tower to Gulmarg in minus 12 degree temperature and in the midst of snow on elevation of 8,500 feet (Srinagar – Gulmarg).
Mir Iterat Haideri, a resident of Baghwan Pora, Lal Bazar, did the solo ride with the slogan
of SAY NO TO DRUGS and claimed he is the first youth from India to achieve this feat in Chilai Kalaan.
“Nothing is impossible in this world for a strong-willed and passionate person,” Iterat said.
Iterat consecrated his travel with the message “Save Humanity” and “Avoid Drugs”.
For which he had also made some banners and on them some important messages were written to prevent bad addiction like drugs and with this message he went forward for which the common people appreciated him a lot.
You may want to remind that earlier also the cycle journey completed by Iterat from Srinagar to Kargil was appreciated by every section of the society and after accomplishing this feat Iterat got this honor. That it was the first time that someone from Srinagar district had accomplished such a feat.
