Nearly 6 days after remaining in a mortuary at District Hospital Handwara, corpses of four Karnah residents were airlifted in a chopper, lent by Border Security Forces, to their native places

Nearly 6 days after remaining in a mortuary at District Hospital Handwara, corpses of four Karnah residents were airlifted in a chopper, lent by Border Security Forces, to their native places

Karnah, Feb 13:- The Border Security force 27 Battalion. on request of Distt  administrations airlifted critical civil patients through BSF MI- 17  helicopter today for treatment at higher medical centre as Tangdhar  remains cut off from rest of the valley due to heavy snow fall and  accumulation at Sadhana Pass during winter seasons which cause a lot  of sufferings to people in medical treatment apart from their routine life.  BSF hepter has carried 04(four) mortal remains from Kupwara to  Tangdhar for their last rites. Also, in addition, 3 critical civil patients  along with their attendants were airlifted from Tangdhar to Srinagar.  a border guarding BSF is not Just protecting the LOC but also extending  cooperation to civil administration in their need and helping border  population including civilians. Border Security Force in always there to  serve the people of Kashmir and ensuring ther well-being is our first and  foremost priority.
