RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 08: Agriculture Department organised a district level training cum orientation programme under holistic agriculture development programme here at district administrative complex Maitra.  Technical staff of line departments like Animal and Sheep Husbandry department was imparted detailed training regarding the project.  Speaking on the occasion, the resource persons underlined the importance of agriculture and allied sectors in the development of rural economy and said that the training programme will ensure availability of quality human resources and provide necessary ground support for the implementation of holistic agriculture development plan.   Chief Agriculture Officer, Dr. Ashwani Kumar, stressed upon the participants to reach out to people and motivate them to adopt modern technological intervention and scientific methods to boost agricultural production.  He urged the departments to work in close coordination for successful implementation of these mega projects under holistic development of agriculture and allied sectors in an integrated manner to bridge the gaps in demand and supply in all the fields.
