Army rescues pregnant woman from snowbound Kupwara

Indian Army on Monday rescued a pregnant woman from the snowbound Badakhet village of Kalaroos block in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

As per the defence spokesperson, the soldiers carried the woman on a stretcher for 5 km near Sumo Bridge where an ambulance was on standby. Both the woman and her baby boy are doing well.
