Rajouri: Agriculture Deptt staff donates Rs 50,000 towards District Red Cross Fund

RAJOURI, JANUARY 25: Chief Agriculture Officer, Sohan Singh, today handed over a cheque of Rs 50, 000 to Chairman District Red Cross (District Development Commissioner) Rajouri, Vikas Kundal as a contribution towards the Red Cross fund.

The amount has been realized on account of voluntary contribution of Officers/Officials of Agriculture Department Rajouri.

The CAO informed that the staff has voluntarily donated the amount considering the fact that the Red Cross funds were being used for the poor and needy during natural disasters and calamities.

The DC appreciated the gesture of the department of contributing towards the noble cause. He said that the funds generated from voluntary contributions to the Red Cross fund are utilised for the social cause.
