GANDERBAL POLICE ORGANIZED TWO DAYS WORKSHOP ON IMPROVEMENT OF INVESTIGATION OF NDPS CASES AT DPO GANDERBAL

GANDERBAL 21st JANUARY 2023    Stressing on the adoption of latest techniques and standard practices to expedite the investigation of criminal cases, on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, today two days workshop regarding efficient disposal off NDPS cases for all the investigation Officers (IO’s) of District Police Ganderbal was organized at DPO.  During the workshop, Chairing Officer ASP Ganderbal Shri Feroz Yeyha-JKPS impressed upon the officers that progress of various heinous crime cases must be disposed off properly and on timely basis. He directed the officers present in the workshop to conduct investigations efficiently so that culprits do not go scott free. He also stressed for adopting the latest technologies and standard practices to expedite investigation of cases on merits for judicial determination. He also stated that to improve the conviction rate and disposal off the NDPS & other sensational crime cases effectively, Gazetted officers should supervise the investigation Officers.  The workshop was also attended by DySP Hqr’s Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS, Senior Prosecuting Officer DPO Ganderbal including other senior officers of District Ganderbal.
