Handwara, Jan 21 Aabid Hussain Lone, a resident of Udaipora Langate in Handwara area of Kupwara district has brought laurels to the area after clearing prestigious Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services exam in his third attempt.   Aabid did his initial schooling from his native village Udaipora and later went to Srinagar to pursue his further studies and fulfil his dream.  This was his third attempt to crack the exam and according to Aabid he never felt disappointed in the journey even as he failed twice to crack it.   “Civil Service is about patience and perseverance because you have to keep attempting while being patient”, Aabid told Daily Gadiyal News   He said at times you will go through such trauma and chaos that you think of quitting and find any other destination. “But the one who keeps trying gets the fruit of success”, he said.   Aabid embarked on the Civil Services journey in 2018. However, failed to clear in his first two attempts, but he tried his luck the third time and this time he made it through.   While thanking his parents, family and teachers for supporting him in this journey, Aabid said his father played a major role in this journey, while his mother, uncle and relatives emphasised on him to keep working hard which helped him crack this exam.  “It is the age of internet today. Every type of knowledge is at your fingertips. With poper use of internet one can crack any exam even JKAS or IAS as well”, he said.   He further said a right and genuine mentor can help you crack any exam and same thing proved right for him.  He said there were some good teachers and mentors who guided him to right path in the journey and it is all because of them that he made his parents and the whole valley proud.
