Jammu, Jan 19: Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir met BJP district president for Ganderbal Mohammad Amin Shah at Raj Bhawan Jammu on 18th of January. In his maiden visit to the LG of the UT as a District President, Mohammad Amin Shah drew his attention toward some important infrastructure development needed in the district. Shah discussed the need for road widening from the SSP office to the DC office through Behama Chowk as it causes a major traffic problem in the town, he added that this road connects all villages to Srinagar and Ganderbal town. Mohammad Amin Shah also called the honorable LG to sanction a children’s hospital in the district, shah hailed the health department and administration by saying that they have done a marvelous job by upgrading hospitals and health services in the district but the district is in need for a children hospital so that the far-flung areas can visit the hospital with ease. Upgrading hydropower projects and new projects demand was also made by district president Mohammad Amin Shah. He said Ganderbal has the potential to become self-sufficient in generating electricity from water. Apart from these demands Shah praised the district administration and said the full support of the administration has made it easier to perform work for the welfare of the people of district Ganderbal.
