Ganderbal, Jan 19: BJP district president Mohammad Amin Shah congratulated advocate Altaf Lone for being appointed new president of Municipal Council Ganderbal. Altaf Lone defeated his opponent, Abdul Rashid by a margin of 7 votes, out of the 17 councillors, 12 voted in favor of Altaf while Rashid got only 5 votes. Shah in his congratulation message told media that election of Advocate Altaf Lone is beneficial for Ganderbal Municipal area as he is very hard working and dedicated person. “I am keenly interested in making Ganderbal a model district and election of hardworking and honest person like advocate Altaf Lone is a blessing” added Shah.
