Acting upon the instructions of DC, a  joint team of Revenue, and Police departments launched the drive to remove all encroachments on Kahcharai land which can be used for community purposes in the area.

2145 Kanals of State and Kahacharai land has been retrieved across the district after a massive anti-encroachment drive was launched in all tehsils of the district.

Further, District Administration has given strict directions to speed up the drive against the land encroachments across the district.

While talking about the anti-encroachment drives undertaken to preserve Government land,  Dr Sehrish said that the drive will continue and all the encroachments on state as well as kahcharai land will be removed.

On the occasion, the DC also sought cooperation of the general public in its action against encroachments and also warned of action under CrPC in matters of encroachment on State/kahcharie lands.

While commending the efforts of the concerned Tehsildars and their teams, the DC asked them to continue the anti-encroachment drives in their respective jurisdictions with added zeal and dedication so that all State/Kahcharie land is retrieved in the district.
