The tenure of previous body of JKFA came to an end in May 2022 and the same has been endorsed by AIFF wherein JKFA loss its mandate to caste vote in AIFF elections because of no exco body of JKFA. Further as per Constitution there are only two official individuals representing JKFA i.e Mr Wasim Aslam and Prof B.A. Shah. Meanwhile it was the efforts of Mr Wasim Aslam (Chairman Election/JKFA Affairs) who managed to conduct the elections in a fair and transparent manner in 16 Districts/Zones of Kashmir Division and bore all the expenses incurred during the elections. Meanwhile the Jammu Division elections are under process which will start very soon with the support of real stake holders of Jammu Division to be in the Election committee.
It seems the people who have dragged and used this Association for their personal gains are still trying their best to subbotage the democratic process which will not be tolerated at any cost and strict action against them will be taken agisnt them as per the law.
These people used the social media page for their own sake and benefits. The JKFA affairs of previous regime are under investigation by sevaral Central Investigating Agencies and all the records of JKFA are lying with the investigation agencies. It was with the kind support of J&K Sports Council that the office of JKFA is now running from Bakshi Stadium which is now the official address of JKFA for any official correspondence. Its after two decades the office of JKFA is back to its original place. The people were running the office of JKFA from their ABC Private office at Abiguzar to hide all irregularities.
It is also worth mentioning that AIFF have now handed over the official CRS/CMS portal to the new administration of JKFA. For smooth functioning of football affairs the new email id and various social media accounts have been created to highlight the achievements/affairs and increase transparency of JKFA and all the correspondence with AIFF/JKSC are being made through the new email ids and the same social media accounts and emails ids are endorsed and accepted by All India Football Federation and J&K Sports Council.
Government, AIFF as well as all the real stakeholders have voiced their satisfaction regarding the affairs and democratic process of current JKFA. Recently Chief Secretary J&K Shri Arun Kumar Mehta along with Secretary JKSC Ms Nuzhat Gul held the massive sports festival with Chairman Elections JKFA Mr Wasim Aslam. Similarly the current administration of JKFA was also able hold the most successful J&K Police Martyr’s Memorial Football Tournament under the Chairmanship of Mr Wasim Aslam and Prof. B.A.Shah as Hon General Secretary JKFA.
The people who are involved in spreading fake rumours have damaged JKFA the best way they could. We have taken a pledge to get back the lost glory of football and we will not leave any stone unturned to reach our goal.
We have already taken up the matter with the higher ups and strong action will be taken against these people who are hellbent to damage the game of football in UT of J&K for personal gains
