In line with several reformative steps taken by the J&K Waqf Board, under Chairpersonship of Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, to overhaul the Educational system in schools run by it, J&K Waqf Board has initiated the process for compilation of a consolidated work on Biographies and contributions of Sufis and Saints that have lived in the Union Territory of J&K and propagated their Sufi thought and teachings.

An order to this effect has been issued by Executive Magistrate, Tehsildar J&K Waqf Board Ishtiyaq Mohi-Ud-Din, that says the consolidated work shall be made part of the Curriculum in Waqf Schools from the forthcoming Session.
