Karnah a far off place is without Naib Tehsildars and other officials which  has added sufferings to the people of Karnah. There are three posts of Naib Tehsildars in the whole Karnah but only one Naib Tehsildar is posted for a population of around 1 lakh people which made them immensely suffer said Deputy BDC Chairman Abdul Rahim Mir. He further said that posts of Naib Tehsildars and other officials have been lying vacant since superannuation of two Naib Tehsildars and other officials. People of far off places spending thousand rupees but move back without getting their work completed in the evening, says Deputy BDC Chairman Tangdar. Due to heavy rush of people Revenue Department could cater to their demands or routine works which sent back applicants high and dry who travelled from far off places of Karnah. 4 Gardwar Posts have been kept vacant. Work load has been huge in the Tehsil. People have been facing alot of difficulties in managing their day to day affairs relating to Revenue Department. Transfer of Patwris to different parts of Kupwara has created a vacuum in work culture in Tehsil Karnah whileas Patwris who are posted in Karnah could live up to the expectations of population If availed casual leave of a few days, resulting huge red-tapism in the Tehsil. The Deputy BDC Chairman Abdul Rahim Mir urged the department to fill up the vacant posts as soon as possible so that sufferings of the huge populace may get mitigated.  Locals urged Hon’ble LG UT J&K to address the issues raised as these are directly linked to Common masses of Karnah so that good governance may set an example for people of whole J&K.
