In order to revive the legacy of Cinema in Kashmir, a debate session was organised at CHINAR RADIO STATION, MAZBUG on topic CINEMA IN HANDWARA The debate mainly focused on the aspects and Importance of showcasing Cinema in Handwara and how it is going to entertain and educate the people of Kashmir. Prominent Speakers like SAHIL PATHANand SHOWKAT AH MIR participated in the debate session. The speakers spoke about the Scenario back in 1990’s and the recent Infrastructure developments happening in Handwara. The speakers then discussed about the Valley’s love for theatrical experiences and how strong characters motivate us to bring positive changes in the society.
The return of Cinema Halls, will help in boosting the Economy of the state to some extent. The moviegoers who are eagerly waiting to watch their favourite actors on Big Screen retains its allure. At the end, the speakers thanked the Government for such an initiative, which helps in bringing back the past glory of Kashmir.
