27/12/22 to 29/12/22 at the campus of 35 Bn CRPF Humhama, Budgam as an initiatives with locals and students of various Schools and colleges from Humhama, Budgam, Narkara and Srinagar Airport area.  The main theme of the event was to identify local talent in various fields.

The programme was a blend of sport and fun fulfilled activities.  During this Jashn, four events were organized ie., Volleyball, Badminton, Painting & Debate.

The event was formally inaugurated on 27th Dec-22. This festival is organized as a part of civilian outreach program for winning hearts and minds of local population and to change the public perception about the CRPF.  On 28/12/22 Painting and Debate competitions were organized. In painting competition, two subjects i.e, Environment and Drug abuse were given.  For debate, topic was Social Media- “Boon & Bane”.  Many Students from DPS Budgam, Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Humhama, T.B.M.E.S Lal Chowk, Srinagar, KV Air Force Station Srinagar participated in both  competitions with full of enthusiasm and vigor.  In Painting competition, Miss Ruthua Altaf from Boys Hr. Sec. School Humhama and Miss Arbeena from Delhi Public School secured 1st and 2nd Position respectively and the 3rd position to Miss Toiba Yousuf from Boys Hr. Sec. School Humhama.

In Debate Competition,  1st position secured by Miss Baiza Tarzeen from T.B.M.E.S Lal Chowk, Srinagar, 2nd and 3rd position by Miss Sehrish Mushtaq and Miss Malika Iram from DPS Budgam respectively.

On the occasion, senior members of Intezamia committee, Moulvis of various Masjids, Principal Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School, Humhama, expressed their gratitude for this one of a kind initiative which gives the School students a chance to groom their talent & brings youth closer to forces.

On 29/12/22, Final matches of Badminton and volleyball was organized with few games for fun and entertainments.  The closing day was celebrated as a festival and early welcome to New Year.

In the Closing ceremony, Sh. Nikhil Rasotgi, Commandant- 35 Bn CRPF congratulated all the winners and participants for their enthusiastic effort and active participation.

All participants and winners were suitably awarded with trophies and appreciation certificates.   He emphasized upon the importance of organizing such events as a tools for further strengthen the CRPF relationship with children and youth of the local area.

He thanked all the media personnel, Intezamia Committee members, Principal, teachers for their cooperation and also wished a very bright future to all the participants.
