An interaction cum awareness program was held in the M.Y. Khan Hall of J&K Bank Corporate Head Quarter today on Thursday (Ist. of December) at 3.00PM with the GMs and DGMs of J&K Bank Limited by the Income Tax Department on directions of Sh. M.P. Singh, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Srinagar. Smt. Gulzarin Akhter, IRS (Asstt. Commissioner of Income Tax), Sh. Shekhar Sukheja (Income Tax Officer Hq. Admn), Sh. Akash Meena (Income Tax Officer Tech./TRO) and Sh. Muneer Atta Mohd Bhat (Inspector) represented the Income Tax Department.

Smt. Gulzarin Akhter, IRS (Asstt. Commissioner of Income Tax), Srinagar officiated the interaction cum awareness program regarding various provisions of Income Tax Act and Rules and enlightened the officers of the J&K Bank Limited about the role of tax payers in the nation building and paying taxes voluntarily/ honestly. The participants interacted on various issues related to provisions of Income Tax and were very happy and satisfied with the responses given to their queries by the Officer.

Sh. Partik Punjabi (CFO) on behalf of the J&K Bank Limited thanked Officer’s of the Income Tax Department and desired to have more such interaction cum awareness programmes in future also in order to update the Officers regarding amendments and various provisions of Income Tax Act. The program has been successful and fruitful.
