Congregational Fateh Khawani of noted Sufiana Artist Ustaad Mushtaq Ahmad Saznawaz and former employee of Cultural unit, department of Information and Public Relations who passed away on November 18, after a brief illness was held on Sunday at his ancestral graveyard Faqeer Mazar, Bungar Mohalla Noor bagh Srinagar and at residence in Dana Mazar Safa Kadal Srinagar.
Thousands of people including the family and relatives & fans of deceased, renowned scholars, artists, religious personalities, officers and employees of Information Department, All India Radio Srinagar, Cultural Academy, Doordarshan Srinagar and personalities from different walks of life participated in the Congregational prayers.
Former ADG AIR, Bashir Arif, theatrical personality Mushtaq Ali Ahmad Khan, AECO Cultural Unit, DIPR Syed Shakeel Shan besides Syed Shakeel Qalandar, Iftikhar Kamili, Amin Bhat, Waheed Jeelani, Raja Bilal, Gulzar Ahmad Ganai and people in general rememberd Ustaad Mushtaq Ahmad Saznawaz, his huge contribution in preserving Sufiana Mouseeqi. The speakers prayed for the eternal peace of the noble soul.
