Xen R&B among 3 dead after vehicle plunges into Chenab in Doda

Three government officials died while another one was injured after a vehicle they were travelling in plunged into the river Chenab in Assar area of Doda district on Monday.

An official told the news agency that four officials of Road and Buildings were onboard a vehicle when it skidded off the road and plunged into the river Chenab near Assar.

He said that three officials including executive engineer R&B Doda, AEE and driver died on the spot while superintending engineer was injured.

He added that the injured officer was evacuated to government medical college Doda where his condition was said to be critical.
