Secy JKSCAB felicitates mothers, readmitted school girls
REASI, OCTOBER 21: District Social Welfare Department Reasi with its sub- branches (DSWO Office, Poshan, Mission Vatsalya, DHEW, OSC) today celebrated Birth of newly born girl children under Beti Bachao Beti Padaho under the Jan Abhiyan.
During the programme, Secretary, JK SC Advisory Board, visited the district and joined the programme.
During the programme, the Secretary, JK SC Advisory Board elaborated on the BBBP Programme and laid stress on effective implementation of JK SC/ST Atrocities Act. She also interacted with field functionaries of Poshan and DCPU, DHEW, OSC Staff and discussed important women related issues and their solutions through counselling.
During the programme, the enrolled children participated in poetry, dance competitions. Officials of DHEW also created a beautiful theme based on Rangoli. Further, mothers of newly born girl child and school dropout girls who took admission in schools, were also felicitated. The programme ended with theme based Cake cutting.
DPO Poshan Reasi, CDPO Reasi and Pouni also attended the programme.
