Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the process of Padtaal (verification) of digitized Jamabandis is being carried out to ensure availability of error free land records to the people so that they can have a clear picture of their land holdings.

The DC said that the district has already achieved the feat of 100 percent digitization of land records and now the process of Verification/Padtaal is underway and revenue teams have been engaged to complete this process well in time.

This verification of digitized Jamabandis will ensure error free availability of land records in the system and after completion of verification land passbooks will be printed and issued in the whole district, he added.

He also impressed upon the verification teams to work with more zeal and dedication to complete the process of Padtaal within a set timeline.

During the visit, the DC was accompanied by ACR Kulgam, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz and other officers.
