KULGAM, AUGUST 17: Commissioner Secretary Revenue, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri today visited Kulgam district and took stock of pace and progress on ongoing developmental works here.

The Commissioner Secretary, who is also incharge Secretary for district Kulgam, also visited Chambagund and took stock of ongoing works on 10×40 meter Chambagund-Kulgam Bridge which is under the execution of R&B being constructed at an estimated cost of 32 crore. He directed the officers of the executing agency to ensure timely completion of the the bridge within a given timeline.

Later, Bidhuri also inspected the work site of PRI residential complex and took first-hand appraisal of ongoing works there.

On the occasion, the Commissioner Secretary was informed that the project will come up with an estimated cost of cost 5.22 crore.

The Commissioner Secretary also took stock of ongoing works at Officers residential quarters at Liroo.

Earlier, the Commissioner Secretary inaugurated two Amrit Sarovars at Checkpora Ashmuji and a park Developed by Rural Development Department at an estimated cost of 10 lakh.

It was informed by ACD on the occasion that a total of 233 Amrit Sarovars were developed and rejuvenated in Kulgam district which is highest across J&K.

Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat, ADC, ACD, DSP Hq and other officers accompanied the Commissioner Secretary during the visit.

Earlier, the Commissioner Secretary also visited Centralized Digitization centre for Jamabandis (Land records) and took stock of Digitization process of Jamabandies there.
