On the occasion, individuals and public deputations highlighted their issues ranging from provisions of Basic Amenities like Water, Electricity and Road connectivity besides issues of shortage of staff in Schools and several specific issues.

After listening to the issues of the locals, the DC redressed many grievances on the spot and passed a slew of directions to the concerned officers for early redressal of the rest of the issues projected by the people. The DC passed directions to ADC Billawar and concerned Tehsildar to assess the damages in the rain affected areas so as to ensure that deserving cases can be given compensation under laid down norms.

Earlier, the DDC Member Nagrota Gujjroo Narayan Dutt Tripathi and other PRI members projected issues of their respective areas before the Deputy Commissioner.

On the occasion, the DC also inspected stalls put up by different departments to exhibit their schemes and programmes.
